Old Testament Prophesies of Jesus' Death

Many people feel that they should only consider the scriptures in the New Testament as their guidepost for everyday life. If you have had this opinion, I ask you to consider that a cornerstone of our Christian faith is the "Trinity" - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - they are one. We believe that Jesus was fully God and fully human.  This means that the ribbon of truth that flows through the Olde Testament are carried forward into the teachings of the New Testament. During the course of history the true meaning of God's word was twisted in and attempt to be perfect. "The Law" became so cumbersome that salvation was unattainable to everyone. In fact, in Luke 24: 25-27 Jesus told his deciples, "He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory? And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself."
